Teen Mermaid Dives into Novel Workshop

I've been in love with writing almost as long as I've been in love with reading, since the age of four. My love for cooking, baking, and feeding people came a bit later, but it's a delicious diversion when I'm a bit stuck in the writing department. I co-captain an unruly but loving household of two kids, a dog, a cat, three chickens, five fish, and a snail named Barley. We all keep our eyes open for mermaids when we take the ferry across Puget Sound.
