Neon Wasteland is the first solo project of digital artist Rob Shields. Neon Wasteland Vol 1 was nominated for a Auggie Award for Best Indie Creator in 2020. The comic was first published in Heavy Metal in the Spring of 2018. Vol 1 & 2 of the comic have been successfully crowd funded. My work is inspired by 1980's Japanese cyberpunk, 80s & 90s brain freeze, graffiti, video games, comic books, AR, VR & everyone's best friend the internet.
