She is a seasoned writer, producer, director and is an award-winning storyteller in the lifestyle, documentary and dramatic genres - most recently: a Hugo Award (2010 - Travel Series category) and a Platinum EMPixx Award (2010).&nbsp; <br><br>In 2005, she was one of 16 filmmakers from across Canada nominated for the prestigious Don Haig Award and was also a selected participant in the NFB Momentum program.<br><br>This year, Rowan was thrilled to be 1 of 5 filmmakers selected to the OMDC and Telefilm sponsored WIFT Development Incubator program for her script Lucid.&nbsp; Rowan's most recent writing and directing projects can be viewed on LOGO TV and OUTtv (Bump! III and IV and Jack TV), and online (In The Grid). <br><br>She is a founder of Plus 8 Pictures and a member of WIFT.
