<p>I am a filmmaker, founder of The Webby Awards, and director of The Moxie Institute. My films have been selected at over 100 film festivals including Sundance and Tribeca, and have won over 22 awards including Grand Jury and Audience Awards. My last film, The Tribe, became the #1 most downloaded short film on iTunes.</p> <p>After years focusing on two things &#8212; the power of the Internet, and making films &#8212; it is so exciting to see the worlds of the Internet and film collide, offering up a world of possibilities to indie filmmakers&#8230;like this one on idiegogo.</p> <p>I am working on my new film, a feature doc, &#8220;Connected: A Declaration of Interdependence.&#8221; Very excited about it.
