Two Eastside Chicks

Maria and Sandra became friends when they attended high school together at Sir Charles Tupper in East Vancouver, sharing a love for theatre, fashion and crazy schemes. Over the years, they supported each other's theatrical pursuits and decided to create Portuguese Buns Productions together. They had so much fun creating the hit show FESTA! at the 2016 Vancouver Fringe Festival and the subsequent remount that they decided to create the pilot Tia Maria's Cafe. And here we are!!!
