Henrik Kolind

Creative producer, director and all round filmmaker

I grew up in the Danish country side where there was not much of a filmmaking community. It was not until a high school course introduced me to the wonders of focus pulls and non-linear editing that I knew I had found my calling.<div>I spent three years at the European Film College, first year as a student, third year as a teacher. I then started my own company doing everything from theatre visualisations north of the polar circle to editing cinema commercials and teaching workshops at the Krakow Academy of Art.</div><div>In 2009 I directed the feature film "Caroline - The Last Journey" which was accepted to "Hollywood Reel Independent Festival".</div><div>Apart from that I have had the pleasure of working with amazing people at London based "Evil Hypnotist Productions" on the successful short "The Furred Man" that has been accepted to 25+ festivals and won numerous awards.</div><div>I am currently residing in Leeds, UK, where I am taking a master's degree in Creative Producing.</div><div>Current/near future projects include the graduation film "Billie and Billy", an extended version of "Caroline - The Last Journey", a music video for the Norwegian artist Martine Lund Hoel, being involved in "Evil Hypnotists Productions" upcoming feature while developing another feature.</div>
