BooBee Books is the creative thoughts, words and pictures of  Da'Vel Kent-Bey and Johnnett Kent. This brother and sister team made the decision to create children's books dedicated to addressing the emotional stresses, social issues and social norms that school aged children are confronted with. Johnnett Kent, actor and former educator, observed first hand how children are trying to find answers to questions about themselves and where they fit in the world. When these questions go unanswered, destructive behavior and habits can erupt. This can lend itself to deferred emotional and social development for a child.    Da'Vel Kent-Bey is a youth activist. Da'Vel and his colleagues have been  molding and shaping the minds of the youth through their organization " The Micology Movement" for well over ten years. The Micology Movement is dedicated to empowering, mentoring and reconstructing the mindset of today's youth through a series of academic, cultural, creative and performing art workshops and seminars. Both Johnnett and Da'Vel are committed  to creating literature that will inspire children to strive for greatness. <h6>. </h6>
