My name is Joe Weil, and I am an independent filmmaker. I made a feature length film, Welcome to Shirley, when I was 18 years old. I filmed in local businesses, my actors were professional volunteers, and I rented out a movie theater so that people would come see it. I have spent the last two years trying to make my first “Hollywood” independent film – a neo-Western Jewsploitation adventure called FRINGES.
