My first childhood memory is of a 3 year old me singing for a group of my Mother's friends. It feels like I've always sung, and there was always music in my house. My Mom has always been a great singer and still sings at 88 years old. So of course it's nature AND nurture. Singing is such a wonderful and fun privilege. I appreciate that the listeners are giving me the gift of their time, so I believe that my music, whatever genre, should be created with truth, love, joy and respect and fun.
