<p>Circuit&#8217;s original look and feel set it apart from both the typical low-budget film and the standard Hollywood movie. By pushing the usual boundaries of the narrative form, Circuit becomes a fluid, dreamlike space. Utilizing innovative camera-work that follows elaborately choreographed tracking paths, we move with the characters. The viewer then becomes a voyeur that has the ability to travel without boundaries. Performances from the cast are grounded, authentic and real. The sound blends elements of abstraction and the avant-garde with traditional scoring techniques. Circuit was shot using state of the art video equipment (mini-DV adapted with 35mm lenses).</p>
