Musician, Sailor and founder of the Sessions and Sail project

I am a Shetlander who combines two careers - as a professional sailor, and a professional musician. I have sailed around the world as crew and captain of tall ships such as Soren Larsen, Tenacious and One and All; and I have toured in the UK and mainland Europe as a musician with groups such as Wire and Wool, Rack n Ruin, Tildon Krautz, and with my own musical projects. In 2017 I founded Sessions and Sail, the idea being to bring my two passions together and share them with the public.
