Roland got his start in comics in the late 80s during the b&w boom with a comic called CAT & MOUSE. He became an editor at Malibu Comics and edited such titles as THE PROTECTORS, DINOSAURS FOR HIRE, EX-MUTANTS, and then NIGHT MAN, STRANGERS, PROTOTYPE, SLUDGE, RUNE, and others after Malibu launched the Ultraverse, Marvel bought Malibu...and not long after, declared bankruptcy.
