He plays the guitar with passion and innovation; and with a dark resonance in his voice, he sings with an honesty that feels like home.</p> <p><a style="COLOR: rgb(253,90,30); TEXT-DECORATION: none" href="http://mikemilazzo.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/mike-headshot.jpg"><img style="BORDER-BOTTOM-STYLE: none; TEXT-ALIGN: left; PADDING-BOTTOM: 4px; BORDER-RIGHT-STYLE: none; MARGIN: 0px 7px 2px 0px; PADDING-LEFT: 4px; PADDING-RIGHT: 4px; DISPLAY: inline; BORDER-TOP-STYLE: none; FLOAT: left; BORDER-LEFT-STYLE: none; PADDING-TOP: 4px" class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-293" title="mike milazzo" alt="" src="http://mikemilazzo.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/mike-headshot.jpg?w=199&amp;h=300" width="199" height="300"></a>Songs from“The World Outside,” Mike’s first solo CD, receive regular airplay on local and satellite radio, and reviewers&nbsp;feel that “Mike Milazzo’s candid style of songwriting and playing&nbsp;is an inspired combination. His raw guitar and vocal sound support introspective lyrics, and drawing from his eclectic influences, Milazzo has accumulated a catalog of songs that are rootsy, gritty and full of emotion.”</p> <p>Mike Milazzo’s second solo CD, “The Show,” &nbsp;is in production. A relentless performer, Mike plays regularly in New York, Connecticut, and elsewhere in the Tri-State area. Songs from the upcoming CD are already well loved by fans; the title track “The Show” has become the theme song for Penny’s Open Mic @ UNDER St. Marks Theater, a popular open mic in NYC, and fan-made videos of Mike Milazzo’s amazing live performances are&nbsp;often posted on facebook and youtube.</p> <p><a style="COLOR: rgb(253,90,30); TEXT-DECORATION: none" href="http://mikemilazzo.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/mike-milazzo-palace.jpg"><img style="BORDER-BOTTOM-STYLE: none; TEXT-ALIGN: right; PADDING-BOTTOM: 4px; BORDER-RIGHT-STYLE: none; MARGIN: 0px 0px 2px 7px; PADDING-LEFT: 4px; PADDING-RIGHT: 4px; DISPLAY: inline; BORDER-TOP-STYLE: none; FLOAT: right; BORDER-LEFT-STYLE: none; PADDING-TOP: 4px" class="alignright size-medium wp-image-295" title="mike milazzo palace" alt="" src="http://mikemilazzo.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/mike-milazzo-palace.jpg?w=200&amp;h=300" width="200" height="300"></a>Mike’s solo career is augmented with extensive collaborative work, reflecting the diversity of his relationship with music.
