As a sophomore in the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, I study International Politics and International Security but my real passion is the Central Asia, also known as the region of the “stans” (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan). I am captivated with the region’s history, culture, politics and security dynamics! I speak French proficiently and will be in Kazakhstan this summer studying Russian! In addition to my studies, I am extremely passionate about promoting women’s empowerment, leadership, cross-cultural communication and dialogue and I love to travel! I’m also a huge fan of musicals, dance and all things in the theatre! While I am extremely passionate about all-things International, I do not yet know exactly what I will do with my life. I guess you could say, to quote a song from the musical “Pippin,” that I’m still trying to “find my corner of the sky!”</font></span></p>
