<p>I'm fundraising for a cause that needs more...more funds, more research, more light, more attention, this is important to me because I have lived to talk about it.&nbsp; My background is in advertising, marketing and film production.&nbsp; I'm using what tools I have, to create what I can for this cause.&nbsp; Last year on October 1st, I started walking from my home town in NY to Boston, MA where I was last treated in 2008.&nbsp; I stopped at schools, and various other organizations along the way to talk to people about the need for more funds and early detection.&nbsp; I completed that walk on November 1st, 2011.&nbsp; The non-profit I've created, <strong>Brain Matters</strong> filmed the entire walk, and all the people I met along the way...survivors, patients, and doctors. The need for funding continues.&nbsp; This year I'm doing a celebratory fundraiser of that amazing walk.&nbsp;</p>
