Friedrich was born 1977 in Germany and graduated in Political Science from Sciences Po Paris and the Free University of Berlin. He is an expert in theory and practice of interreligious peacebuilding and has worked in Syria, Lebanon, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Paris, Brussels and Berlin. Until recently, he served as adviser to the last President of the European Parliament, Jerzy Buzek. Friedrich is also lecturing at Sciences Po Paris and has published a couple of scholarly books and articles.
