Artist and resident of Los Angeles, Josue Bustos, has been creating since as long as he can remember. His passion is deeply rooted in the undeserved struggles of indigenous and non indigenous communities. To better understand and convey those stories, Josue has made the effort to join community based organizations so that the art he creates speaks the voices of the people.

In December of 2011, Josue and 12 other artist traveled to the community of Guanajuato, Mexico. The art collective created workshops and two murals for El Buen Pastor, a weekly foster home for girls, from 11 -17 years of age. The building now has an almost brand new art classroom and programs, and two large scale murals inside the building created by the artists of Los Angeles, the Guanajuato community, and the young girls of El Buen Pastor.

Josue pursues a life of creativity with murals, public art, creative community endeavors, and wishes to travel around the world innovating, designing, and building community.
