<p>E.B.<span class="caps">HUGHES</span> was born and raised in New Jersey. He has written 25 screenplays to date, and has written, produced and directed two short films “A Distant Chord”, 1994 and “Harsh Light”, 1997 and a documentary “Once a Champion”. His short film “Harsh Light” won Top Prize at the Palm Springs International Film Festival the Long Island Film Festival, and was featured at the Euro-Underground Film Festival in Krakow and Munich. His screenplay “Life’s Back Pocket” is a former finalist of the Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting. Three years ago, his screenplay “Dark Intervals” was optioned by New York based Film Director, Joe Brewster (“The Killing Zone” & “The Keeper”), last July he sold his screenplay-“The Messenger” (aka “The Fallen Faithful” ) to NY based Other Side of the River Productions. The film premiered in Florida last month, and will have its Los Angeles premiere on June 21st at the Arclight Theatre. E.B.’s screenplay “Turnabout”, which he also will produce and direct, is currently in Pre-Production.</p> <p><em><strong>“E.B.
