<p><strong>Cristina is interested in introspective stories that emphasize the power of self-realization and personal transformation.</strong><br /><br />Cristina Tamez Rodriguez is a writer/director/actress originally from Monterrey, Mexico. After high school she moved to Mexico City to study Media and Communications. During her studies, she had the chance to do various international exchange programs in the following countries: Spain, Czech Republic and England. She graduated with a thesis documentary on the rock band Kinky. She then worked as an associate producer at MTV Networks Latin America. After two years at MTV she decided to go back to film and did a documentary about the lack of quality in education in the highlands of Chiapas, Mexico. Cristina decided to keep enriching her education and in 2010 enrolled in acting school in Vancouver where she shot various shorts as an actress and director. She is currently studying writing and directing at NYU&rsquo;s Graduate Film Program.<br /><br /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
