<br>I am Taimak (pronounced Tie-Mock) some people call me<span class="ecxagText"> <a target="_blank" title="The Last Dragon" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFzuxgivmQ8">The Last Dragon</a></span>.<br>I love artists, all artists!<br>And I love my fans, we inspire each other....<br><br>It's been 27 years since we wrapped principal photography for Berry Gordy's The Last Dragon, <br>It's truly been an honor to meet so many wonderful people that are fans and hold this movie close to their hearts.<br>It is a true pleasure every time I run into you guys in person and on my Twitter and Facebook walls.<br><br>Here we are today 2011 and after the economical breakdown, banks have been hoarding their money and it's been very difficult to squeeze a penny out of them for film projects unless they have a big name attached to it.<br>Well with the advancement of technology it appears the cost of making a professional<br>motion picture has dramatically reduced.<br>I'm happy to say I've gathered together a team of passionate and experienced filmmakers<br>that have teamed up with me to get a film done.<br>I want to start modest as I've written and will be directing the film.<br>So I'm starting with a short film of no more then 20 minutes in length.<br>I want to entertain you in those 20min or so, with action, drama and intrigue.<br>But I'm going to need your help to make this happen. And yes I'll be in the movie.<br><br>I'm an actor/martial artist.<br><span class="ecxagText"><div>I've done over a dozen plays, onstage from New York to Mississippi to Los Angeles.<br>I've even had some experience in the professional wrestling ring with Jimmy "Wang" Yang taking me to Kentucky to do a couple of tag team matches.&nbsp; That was hilarious, not sure I'd do that again though.<br> I've modeled for some of the biggest photographers in the world Francesco Scavullo,<br>Bruce Weber, I've done many commercials and did martial arts choreography for people<br>like <a target="_blank" title="Sky Fits Heaven" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-ekIM_z6yM">Madonna</a> .&nbsp; I've worked with Janet Jackson in her<a target="_blank" title="Let's Wait A'While" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvKhDiNME4E"> Let's Wait A'While</a> video and produced my own<a target="_blank" title="Fitness DVD" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmEIbeVYTBs"> Fitness DVD</a> and calendar.&nbsp; I've done stunt work at universal studio's Hollywood. I've directed stage but this will be the first film I'm directing<span style="font-weight:normal"></span>.&nbsp; I also have a young people's program where I deliver a seminar to children all over the U.S. called <br><a target="_blank" title="Unfolding Dream Program" href="http://unfoldingdream.org/">The Unfolding Dream Program</a><br><br><h3>(Y)OUR STORY<br> </h3> <div> <span class="ecxApple-style-span" style="color: rgb(77, 77, 77); font-weight: 800;"><i>I've Seen Things&nbsp; </i></span><font face="Tahoma" size="2"><span style="font-size:10pt"><span dir="ltr"><i></i>is about Detective Larson's investigation into a fetish club in New York City.<br> Larson learns about a wealthy art dealer named Benjamin Khan that frequents the club.<br> He's a misogynist, and due to his abuse of his wife, she ends up in a mental hospital.&nbsp;<br> The only person left to get justice is her sister Marcia who grows fond of Detective Larson.<br> Larson takes on the case and is up against what seems to be a few bad cops and a powerful yet sinister man.<br> He equally finds his himself feeling for Marcia.<br> <br> Detective Larson is doing surveillance of the club when one of the girls is horrified by Khan, <br>she escapes unharmed.&nbsp; Khan tries to get away as Det. Larson gives chase. As Larson turns the corner <br>he sees a body, is it Khan? Who killed him?<br> The mystery looms in the streets of New York, a city that never sleeps.</span></span></font><span style="font-style: italic;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><br><br></span></span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">I've Seen Things</span> is an entirely independent feature, written and directed by myself, Taimak Guarriello.&nbsp; <a target="_blank" title="Bob Scott" href="http://www.bobscottnyc.com">Bob Scott </a><a target="_blank" title="Valerija" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zWEgTE-xXE&amp;feature=mh_lolz&amp;list=FLTH7JZX5Fp9c"> </a>is the cinematographer, along with editor and cameraman Brandon Herman<a target="_blank" title="Valerija" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zWEgTE-xXE&amp;feature=mh_lolz&amp;list=FLTH7JZX5Fp9c"></a>, associate producer James Richards, detective consulting and firearms props Nikwan Murphy and wardrobe by Sir William Leather.<br></div><br> I choose to work with those who are closest to me, my friends a mixture of artists who for the most part live in NY and who also wish to collaborate with myself and each other, entirely unpaid. Our collaboration extends beyond the cast and crew and includes those who offer their homes, apartments, businesses, locations for filming.&nbsp; <span class="ecxagText">Anyone picking up a phone to help find</span> costumes and props, as well as other resources.&nbsp; I would like to include you in the team/community.<br> <br><span style="font-weight:bold"><span style="font-style:italic"></span></span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">I've Seen Things</span>, we begin shooting principal photography this month, after shooting two very inspiring tests! It is very important for me to connect with this team/community by enlisting talent, crew, and other resources. Financially however, I realize that the potential community stretches far beyond limits and I would like to embrace that connection. When one comes upon a like-minded individual that possess as much enthusiasm for a project as the filmmaker, it is important to nurture that relationship and support it as a collaboration.<span style="font-style:italic"><span style="font-weight:bold"><span style="font-style:italic"><span style="font-weight:bold"></span></span></span></span><br><br> </div><div> <h3>WANTS &amp; NEEDS</h3>For this portion for completion of principal photography we are hoping to raise $2,000. To give you an idea of where this money will be going consider this:</div><div><br></div><div>Each day it costs $200 to feed the cast and crew.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Insurance for the equipment and shooting locations costs around $1,000 for the six days of production. <br><br></div><div>The remainder is used on those costumes and props that cannot be procured from friends and family.</div><div><br></div><div>Any remaining money will be rolled over into the future costs associated with later shoots. There are always pick up shots that are needed after principal photography<br></div><div><br></div><div>And it's not just money that helps!
