A Mama with Soul to Sing

Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, Shylah grew up with music as a way to find comfort and healing through a difficult and conflicted upbringing. Singing became the inner sanctuary and eventually began to perform after writing an albums worth of self-affirming songs. Shylah is self taught in singing, piano and percussion. With 2 young children, Shylah divides her time with mothering, music and has a passion in midwifery and natural birth, which she weaves into her music. This is her first album!
