<p><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><em><strong>Dr Gezaghn Wordofa</strong> </em>was born in Nazret, a rural town outside of Addis Abeba, the capital of Ethiopia, Dr. Wordofa is a relief and developmental professional who has worked for various humanitarian organizations and is the General Director of OPORA based in Moscow. <br /><br /></span><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">He has over twelve years of experience in the development and management of humanitarian aid programs along with degrees in Agriculture and Animal Science, and Environment and Irrigation. <br /><br />He received a PhD in International Relations and Refugee Affairs from the Russian Humanitarian State University in Moscow and named a &ldquo;World Ambassador for Peace&rdquo; by the Social Academy of Russia.<br /><br />Dr Wordofa uses his passion to encourage the equal treatment of people especially women, empowering them to create change. He believes that by giving people the opportunity for proper education, clean drinking water, and access to health care, it will minimize the amount unnecessary death in developing countries and allow them to grow and give back to the world.</span></p>
