Good technician, but too much humanist!

My mechanical engineering teacher used to tell me: "You are a good technician, but you are too much humanist in my opinion. You are artsy!". So, more than ten yeas ago, he drew the line that divide my life, because I live split up into music and mechanical engineering and I consider myself as a music workman: I love playing guitar since I was seven years old, writing music, creating strange kind of artworks made of different objects and (to make up my wages) I design mechanical projects.
