My dream to create children’s books first took root in the second grade. Since then, I've worked on over a dozen picture books while at publishing companies, as a freelance artist, and now as an indie publisher. Somehow I've managed to publish two children's books while working full-time for a racial justice nonprofit organization. I'm also a mom of two boys. (Now you know why I never go out or make it to happy hour.) Multiracial artist born and raised in Oakland, California. That's my nutshell.
