Zel Anders (Leslie Lewis)

My name is Zel Anders (legal name is Leslie Lewis but that will be legally changed soon). I am the owner of Tomboy Tailors. I started the company after years of difficulty buying the clothes I wanted - even in San Francisco. I first began thinking about starting the company in 2010 and in March of 2012 I finally made the decision to start the company. I took an intensive business planning class through the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center in San Francisco and I was fortunate enough to receive several awards for my business plan. Calling on industry leaders in men's clothing and shoes has been quite an experience. At a major trade show, each person looked stunned when I explained what our company is doing and then, to my surprise and happiness, each showed a willingness to work with us. I look forward to growing Tomboy Tailors and making many new friends. It is my hope that our clients will see us as a valuable part of their network. Wishing everyone great success and happiness.
