137 Films has a long track record of making films that focus on the places where science and culture meet. Our mission is to promote science literacy and create a climate of support for science and scientists. We’ve produced two nationally recognized feature films, The Atom Smashers (2008, Independent Lens PBS) and The Believers (2013, Best Documentary Chicago International Film Festival; streaming on iTunes, Hulu, Amazon, and VOD).
