I'm a National Geographic Explorer fighting to save frogs from extinction caused by a global disease pandemic. For the past 10 years, I have been studying amphibian chytrid fungus--a nasty pathogen that threatens thousands of amphibian species with extinction. If nothing is done, countless species may soon disappear. As a PhD student, I have been trying to discover ways to stop this pandemic & in Honduras, we are racing to keep species in the rainforest healthy.
