Concientious objector, served jail time for resisting the Vietnam war draft.

I'm a writer and social entrepreneur based in San Francisco. After deciding to oppose the war in Vietnam in 1967 at age 17, I refused to register for the draft, was arrested and served nine months in federal prison in Arizona, during which time I smuggled a Super 8 movie camera into the prison and made a brief film about serving time. After my release from prison, I was hired as the Exec. Dir. of Agape Foundation: Fund for Nonviolent Social Change.
