Writing for me is like breathing. I can't help but write - always trying to compose stories with a twist, a surprise! I also attempt to write with heart, with characters that are memorable and remarkable. I've won awards for short stories, even a college scholarship for my writing. I'm a devout Christian and I care deeply about people. A former educator, I"m always a teacher, My first novel, Asunder, is set during the Civil War. I have three children and two grandchildren. I am blessed.
