Driven to become a director since the age of 7, Polaris voraciously shot practice shorts and features to learn as much as he could throughout his childhood. He has since shifted to devoting multiple years to single ambitious productions at a time to push what he's able to accomplish independently. Polaris prefers to create high concept genre films with a humorous edge, wanting more than anything to give audiences the giddy thrills they felt going to the movies in their youth.
