I love gel manicures like everyone else. The skin on the top of my hands was badly damaged by the UV light pretty quickly after regularly getting them. I had sunspots everywhere, including on my wrist, as it turns out a portion of the UV light comes out of the lamp too! But who wanted to give up the convenience of a manicure lasting 2 weeks? Not me. When I realized all the other solutions would not work (sunscreen, fingerless gloves) I invented YouVeeShield.
