Like many of us, I look for solace in a world that too often seems out of balance. I find it in the alchemy of the midnight kitchen, where I love to stir things up. I find it in the voices of young refugees and immigrants; their stories give me a recipe for hope as nothing else can. I love how this project honors the intimate connections of food to gardens, to sweet & bittersweet childhood memories, to place, & to what or who we have lost. More than we know, this is poetry.
