<p><span>GRRRL Camp Founder and Co-Director, Elizabeth Labedz, is a life-long sports and girl empowerment enthusiast. &nbsp;After competing in the team handball Junior Olympics, playing 8 years of fast pitch softball, and competing in golf and basketball, she uncovered the lasting benefits of playing sports as a girl. &nbsp;Earning her Gender studies degree from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign taught her more about the status of girls today, and she was inspired to share her powerful sports experience. &nbsp;After 12 years of working with youth, she founded GRRRL Camp to solidify the life lessons learned from sports, and to lead other workshops for today's girls.</span></p>
