<p><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; HI! :-)</strong>&nbsp;<strong>I'm Sarah.*</strong> &nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;I am an activist that is tired of petitioning and protesting and is ready to take ACTION to make our world a better place. &nbsp;I have always been an activist, but I am narrowing in on the ways to be effective. &nbsp;The only thing holding me back is proper funding. &nbsp;I have the ideas, information, initiative and connections to make some real changes; yet, I'm not a huge corporation and can not fund this organization on my own.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Since I moved to Colorado, and especially living close to Colorado Springs, it has been nearly impossible to ignore the homelessness problem-- and it's not something to be ignored. &nbsp;Also, it is not a problem that is unique to the Springs. &nbsp;However, there are certain barriers in the way and hurdles to jump over for a homeless person to secure employment. &nbsp;Without proper documentation and of course, a willing employer, these people have no chance of "making it" in society. &nbsp;If no service is set in place to address this problem, it will just continue this cycle and never end. &nbsp;I would like to set up that service, and get started on solving this problem. &nbsp;Will you help me?</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>*I am also a mother of two and a health, nutrition, wellness, yoga and dance enthusiast who is committed to making this world a better place for my children, and their children, and their children... :-)</p>
