Rod Frantz

Rod is an artist and life-long arts activist. His father was an Army officer and this project honors the memory of that fine man.

Rod recently completed two initiatives for the State of Connecticut DECD/Office of the Arts, CreateHereNow and the City Canvas Initiative. Both were designed to empower artists in their communities and to commit their works to public spaces. As President and Co-founder of the Richard Florida Creativity Group, he helped drive The Rise of the Creative Class to international bestsellerdom. He was the lead singer of the Urban Verbs on Warner Bros Records and is a lover of beauty in all its forms.
