Yehudis Barmatz is a Jewish Art Salon Fellow and member of "Studio of Her Own" and Motherhood Exhibition advisor. Her artwork uses Hassidic and biblical sources to explore her personal identity as a Female Hassidic Jewish artist, using common items and materials to infer abstract references. Her personal working philosophy and approach to the arts in the community is motivated by a belief in the creative arts process as providing identity, healing, soul searching and reflection.
