I've had a love of the sea from childhood. As a child, above my bed hung a net which held pieces of coral, shells, and a preserved puffer fish. Growing up in the Midwest, I never really got a chance to experience the ocean. My wife and I moved to Seattle where I finally felt at home. After watching Whale Wars for a year or two, I decided to get involved. I'm always talking to people about SSCS and helping out locally every way I can. I now am working to serve as a Cove Guardian in Taiji.
