Since 1994, Carlos Cazalis has been using documentary images to expand the public’s awareness on global social, economic and political issues. Cazalis was awarded a World Press Photo in 2009 for his work on habitat issues in Sao Paulo Brazil. In 2012 he produced his first short film entirely on stills on the aftermath of the 2010 Haitian Earthquake and he published his first book Occupy Sao Paulo in Germany. His works has been published and exhibited internationally.
