<p>I am living my dream of moving to a tropical country and after several years of research and review, my husband and I agreed to make Belize our destination of choice. The opportunity arose for me to combine my love of a tropical residence with my career as a real estate representative. And Punta Gorda, Toledo District, offers a lifestyle that is simple, and slower paced than what we are used to in other countries.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>I also have&nbsp;a strong belief that equality is a right and not a privilege.&nbsp; It saddens me to hear when girls are passed over for opportunities just because they are girls.&nbsp; The belief that boys will provide for the family doesn&rsquo;t take into consideration that it is the girls who usually look after their parents in their later years.&nbsp; This initiative is to give more girls the opportunity to become educated, to be able to reach their greater potential and not be held back due to financial considerations of the family.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
