Formed in 2006 is a dynamic ensemble described that has performed at top nightclubs and major festivals. The current all-star lineup set to perform in Cuba includes musicians from Minneapolis, Chicago, New York, and Bermuda. With an instrumentation that dates back to the roots of Cuban music, Charanga Tropical's repertoire features rarely heard danzones and a spicy variety of modern son, cha cha cha, and timba. Collective credits include tours with major salsa artists and multiple recordings.
