John Moran

American composer John Moran, has generally been considered the protege of composer Philip Glass. In 2003 Mr. Glass was quoted as saying, "In my opinion, there is no more important composer working today, than John Moran." Moran's works of music-theater have been commissioned by institutions such as Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, The Joseph Papp Public Theater / NY Shakespeare Festival, American Repertory Theater at Harvard, as well as many other institutions internationally.
