<p>second generation glass artist, freelance graphic designer</p> <p>raised on saltwater and fresh air of Long Island NY</p> <p>happy to have the opportunity to create for a living in my favorite medium glass! I create custom work for residential and businesses with my mom, Sandy, at our glass studio in Bayport, NY, Colorful Visions Art Glass Studio. My glasswork has been exhibited and sold at galleries throughout the US. I am currently working on my FIRST SOLO EXHIBITION!! Exciting and scary!!</p> <p>The solo show is entitled GLAS!! Two exclamation points for extreme excitable emphasis and one s, for the German spelling of glass, as an ode to my heritage. The exhibit runs September 24 - October 14 at Artspace Patchogue Gallery located at 20 Terry Street in the Village of Patchogue, NY. I live at the artspace building and am active in the volunteer efforts to give exposure to the 40+ artists that live in the building. It's an exciting time to be an artist on Long Island! There is a lot of support and excitement as towns and villages embrace the arts.</p> <p>I'm happy my mom let me trade my dishes chore to help her in her glass studio when I was younger. One, because I got out of doing dishes and second, because I can now not only create, but think in glass.
