<p>My name is Emily Gaudreault and I'm the owner/operator of a (currently) home based custom cake business called Border City Cakes. I've always been extremely artistic, but nothing ever truly satisfied me creatively. When I started making these over-the-top cakes, I knew I had finally found what I was supposed to do.</p> <p>I have a huge love of the processes behind creating, new techniques, out-doing myself, and interacting with my clients on a personal level.&nbsp;</p> <p>I've been operating Border City Cakes for 3 years now and in that time I've learned a phenomenal amount about my industry. I've secured contracts, gained a pristine reputation for being the best, gained a huge repeat clientele base, and built a stunning portfolio in the process.</p> <p>I'm known for being able to do just about anything with fondant, and without bragging too much (lol), I have yet to get a challenging theme I couldn't complete to the 9's.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
