<p>I lost my dad when I was 10 years old.&nbsp; Anyone who lost a parent when you were young knows the heartache, and the ongoing struggles.&nbsp; I want to help the 6 children who just lost their dads - police officers who were killed in the line of duty.&nbsp;</p> <p>These men's families are neighbors of my family.&nbsp; They went to school where I went to school, they are part of my hometown community.&nbsp; Their kids are going to grow up in the same neighborhoods.&nbsp; This is for them. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
