I am one of three partners at Jackmont Hospitality, a restaurant company founded in 1994. As a business owner I realize just how important my father's work was. What Maynard Jackson did required great courage and sacrifice, and without him I am certain that Atlanta, and the U.S., would be a very different place. I want to help fund this film because I believe that my father's story, that of an African American leader with integrity, vision and the courage of his convictions, must be told.
