I've spent my life in the arts. I also make a mean risotto.

I combine careers as a writer, theatre director, calligrapher, book artist and instructor. Founder of the Ottawa Children’s Theatre, I teach and direct children, youth and adults in theatres and schools. My most recent book for youth is THE PACT, published by Red Deer Press. Janet Irwin and I have previously collaborated to bring the works of Canadian writers to the stage with youth productions of stories by Tim Wynne-Jones, Alan Cumyn and Brian Doyle.
