Intisar Abioto is a writer, dancer, photographer, and adventurer. Originally from Memphis TN, she studied English and Dance at Wesleyan University in CT. She is the founder of The People Could Fly Project ( where she turned award-winning children’s book, The People Could Fly, into an international 200,000-mile flying arts expedition), Flier Arts Mag, and The Black Portlanders.
