THANK YOU FOR HELPING US RAISE A DARN GOOD AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR OUR PRODUCTION!!

Bluewater East Entertainment

Bluewater East Entertainment is a Connecticut based independent entertainment company founded by Michael T. Lombardi, an actor, director, writer, and producer, to create feature length & short films, and original web-series content in a not-for-profit environment. The creative team behind Bluewater East is made up of talented & diverse people who are passionate about the arts, including Dave Wall, Justin Hall, Kate Finegan, Ana Michela Rodriguez, Richard Contrastano, Kathy Kokoszka, and others.

We combine experienced artists with those who are just getting their start, with the goal of providing a place where artists of all ages can gain valuable experience in multiple aspects of making films and short form web episodes, many of which will serve as potential television series concepts. All of us are working toward the difficult goal of achieving success in a very competitive industry.

We proudly work with actors ages 5 and up, many of whom have never had the opportunity to work in the visual arts, and we offer internships to high school and college students looking to supplement their education with a hands-on experience working in behind the scenes positions.

We are attempting to raise funds for our web-series ‘Welcome to Grandpaville’, which is a series that explores family dynamics – in this case, the relationship between a grandfather and his 11 year-old granddaughter – in a comical but heartfelt way. We have put together a great cast & crew, all of whom are eager to get to work making a show that everyone will enjoy.

Like so many others, we at Bluewater East were deeply saddened by the tragic events at Sandy Hook Elementary last December, which is less than an hour from us in our home state of Connecticut. Of the many projects we had been considering, and in large part due to that event, we decided to produce a wholesome show that families can watch together, and share a laugh together, because we think that’s what the world needs more of. Something that is hopeful & simple in an old fashioned sort of way, free from the violence and reality that so often finds its way into much of what we as television & movie audiences consume. We love to tell stories, and this story is one that we believe is the right one at the right time.

Our Goal and Your Reward!

We are trying to raise $3,000 for our production. These funds will allow us to provide full liability insurance for the members of our cast & crew to ensure their safety (which is our largest expense), feed the cast & crew during unavoidably long hours on the set shooting the series, rent any necessary equipment, pay location expenses, rent or purchase props & wardrobe, and pay for post-production/marketing.

You can contribute as much or little as you'd like (yes, we'd even take $1!) But, for donating more, we have several perks you should take a look at, because who doesn’t love perks, right?! It’s just our small way of saying thank you for helping us.

Spread the Word

Even if you can’t help financially, you can help by spreading the word and sharing the link to this page. Using Facebook, Twitter, and email, you can help us reach our goal of $3.000! We only have a few short weeks, so we’d appreciate your support!
