We are raising funds for Vivian's prescription formula. Insurance will not cover a penny of it.

Vivian was born 3 months early. She stayed in the NICU for over 4 months and never learned how to eat. She had a fundoplication and G-tube surgery at 3 months old. Vivian is now 3 and still relies on 100% of her nutrition through her tube. She has a prescription specialized formula. Our insurance company, United Healthcare, will not pay for this prescription. We have a petition through change.org
that has over 180,000 signatures. We hope that United Healthcare will take notice, but until then we need help with formula.
My husband and I both work full time jobs which translates to not being able to get help from Medicaid or WIC. Vivian's formula is almost my whole paycheck.
The cheapest cases are bought online from amazon or walmart at $200 a case plus shipping. One month supply is about 7 cases. We are down to 5 cases so the stress is up in the house. Right now our goal is to get enough money raised to pay for one month of formula.
If you'd like to help please sign our petition and share. We want all insurance companies to do what is right and pay for medical formula for patients. There are currently 10 states in the United States that have laws that require insurance companies to pay for prescription formula.
