Jimmy Hill was going to die in prison. At least until a face from his past showed up to offer him an intriguing bargain-- Jimmy can leave prison on his feet instead of a box in exchange for one last job, just one night of his life.
Newly paroled, Jimmy's looking to reconnect with the woman he left behind, while keeping a low profile. Our movie follows Jimmy as he tries to duck a crooked Parole Officer, a former partner in crime, and a burn-out Narc Cop with a mysterious grudge, as all the sins of Jimmy's past converge on him on one fateful night...
The Filming Experience
We hope to make this film in the San Francisco Bay Area. The film is set here and we want to shoot it here. This makes the filming schedule and location permits a little more challenging and expensive.
So far, we have cast only one role (Naomi!) and have a small production team signed on. We want to support our local filmmaking community and use local talent as much as possible, for both cast and crew. Please help us make this possible!
We'd also like to include YOU. Our rewards include several opportunies to be involved:
- Come by the set, meet the team, and eat with us!
- Shadow our director, call the shots on set, and watch scenes unfold.
- Learn to shoot with the Red, try some steadicam and dolly shots.
We even have a few featured roles up for grabs, including a prison guard, a thug and a police officer!
For those of you who can't make it to the Bay Area for filming, you can still be involved:
- Name a character, be featured on a rap sheet.
- Be a producer, or even an executive producer!
- Get regular updates, and our shooting script
- And much more, please see our rewards!
We also have some exciting stretch goal incentives lined up!
We have one investor so far, our savings, and our credit cards. We are coming to you, the crowdfunders and backers, so that we can keep creative control and make the film the way it should be made.
Team Charm City is a diverse group of committed, experienced filmmakers. We've made numerous features before and we're determined to make this movie the right way!

If we can't hit our goal, we won't let it stop us, but we will likely have to post-pone our shooting schedule while we raise more funds, find investors and save.
Please consider backing our film and choose a reward level that fits your budget.
We also know that many of you don't have uncommitted funds to contribute, but you can still help by sharing our campaign with your friends, colleagues, and family!
